What you can do

Have a look around the map without signing up. If you’d like to add something, create a free account. You can save a draft and come back to it whenever you’re ready.

Know a free fishing spot?

Add its name, mark it on the map and tell other anglers what you know about fishing there.

Mark the stretch

Draw the stretch or boundary so people can see exactly which bit of water you mean.

Show the way in

Mark the entrance and the path you take to reach the water.

Add the handy details

A parking spot or a nearby toilet can make all the difference. Put them on the map too.

Before it goes on the map

Save what you know as a private draft. When you’re ready, send it for review. It only appears on the map after it has been reviewed and published, so you have time to get the details right.

Always check the rules and permissions for the stretch you want to fish. A note from another angler doesn’t give you permission to fish or guarantee access. You can add your own water; you can’t edit someone else’s.

Joining HookPass and adding to the map are free. Tickets, permits and some events cost extra—check the details before you book. Organisers use Event Credits to publish events.
